What is SPOT-mate™?

It’s a cradle for your SPOT satellite messenger device that allows activation of your SPOT to signal a status change on an attached sensor and send you an alert via email. You can connect SPOT-mate™ to one of our sensors or one of your own to signal a status change in temperature, pressure, motion, vibration, water level, and other environmental conditions. SPOT-mate™ can be easily connected to alarm switches, trip wires, float switches, and other sensors.

Pressure mat: Detect intruders and send a silent satellite alarm signal. Perfect for your cabin, boat, camper, field office, construction site, or any remote location. Can be used in conjunction with other sensors. Mat measures 14"x 22". Heat-sealed vinyl, 20’ cord included.

 PM-1: $69

Battery pack: Connects to your Spot-mate™ to allow use in remote areas where external power is unavailable, for example, when unit is used as a game trail monitor. Rechargeable 12v lithium ion, 1800mA/H, includes charger.

 BP-1: $54

Float switch: Marine-grade float switch signals high water conditions or flooding in sumps, cellars, or bilges. Boat owners: Spot-mate™ should NOT be tied to your existing switch. Mount your Spot-mate™ switch a minimum of 3" higher than your old switch, to avoid false triggering.

FS-1: $29

Microswitch: Industrial quality roller-arm microswitch makes rigging trip wires, rain collectors, and other applications with low activation force easy. Add one to your mechanically triggered trail camera to alert you while game is still in the area.

Why is the Spot-mate™ pictured above missing its outer shell? We are making changes to the outer shell to facilitate some additional features, and Spot-mate™ REV2 will have a slightly different look. The new version will have improved water drainage, a slightly larger form factor to accommodate an internal battery pack option, and bosses to allow the use of the new security hasp (under development).
